Class 419 Motor Luggage Van (N Gauge)

The Class 419 Motor Luggage Vans (MLV) were introduced as part of the Kent Coast electrification scheme in the late 1950s to provide luggage storage on the London to Dover boat trains. These single-car sets had a cab at each end and battery power for working on the dockside.

The MLVs were also used for parcels traffic with some units receiving Royal Mail red in the late 1980s.
