Mark 2F DBSO - Driving Brake Standard

Conversion kit for the Mark 2F Driving Brake Standard Open (DBSO). First introduced for ScotRail push pull services in 1979, these were used between Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen until the introduction of Class 158s in 1989.

Following refurbishment (where the front gangway was removed) these moved to Intercity for services from Liverpool Street to Norwich and then Network Rail for test train use.

The Electra kit is designed to fit the Airfix / Dapol / Hornby Mk2D BSO and some minor modifications are recommended for the bodyshell.
