The Mark 4 coaches, along with the Class 91 locomotives have been the mainstay of the ECML since 1989 and now work for the recently-nationalised LNER.
Many changes of operator since privatisation has led to a huge variety of liveries and replacement my IET units from late 2018 means these coaches will see a new lease of life away from the ECML.
